I've just published the front 9 of Willow Creek Lake as a 9-hole course. It's called "Willow Creek Lake - Front 9" (there are two courses with this name - make sure you choose the 9-hole one, I accidentally also published the full 18 hole course under the same name, but the back 9 isn't finished yet - I wish there was a way to remove published courses!).

There is a creek that comes into play on a few of the holes, but my favourite hole is the par 4 9th that plays downhill towards the lake:

Willow Creek Lake is a course I originally made for TGC1 (the original thread is here: http://www.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php/topic,16841.msg214941.html#msg214941, but I've made quite a few alterations for TGC2. There are 3 tee positions loosely based around the three club types, and four pin positions. I've also widened the light rough so if you do miss a fairway, you should still be able to go for the green.

I'm now working on the back nine, I hope to release that (and the full 18) soon.

Work is progressing on the back 9, but in the meantime here is a video of me playing the front 9 (with some of my rambling commentary): https://youtu.be/UysuT1I2Hlc

I've now published the full 18 hole course (called "Willow Creek Lake - Full 18"), and also the back 9 as a seperate 9 hole course (called "Willow Creek Lake - Back 9"). If you only have time to play nine holes, I recommend the back 9, as I think they're the superior set of holes.

Below are a couple of screenshots, first of the par 4 10th, and then the par 5 18th.

I was toying with making a par 3 course as well, but I think it's time to move onto a new creation. Although that might wait until the release of TGC3.

There's a video of me playing through the back 9 here: https://youtu.be/LzmYzkzH_Xw

Not sure how to stop it showing the ghost of the previous time I'd played the course using a different pinset. But it did highlight two things to avoid on this course: don't miss the green short on the short par 3, and don't drive it in the water on the final hole!
