After hearing that Adam is leaving HB Studios in yesterday's Streaming Q&A with Anthony Kyne, I'm afraid our dreams of a reverse angle landing camera might have gone begging...   :'(

Use "F12,esc,esc,F12" to unlock all cameras while watching your playing partners. Then at least you can watch your partners put by keying "Q" and "V"s to go to the reversed putting camera and watch the put rolling in. :)

Different Adam.  You are referring to AdamV but it is AdamF that is traveling.

@MERACE, this is the sequence on PC to go to the screenshot screen and come back, without actually taking a screeny. I don't know hat it is on the consoles, but you might find out.

Our crops are saved!  ;D  Thanks for getting me out of heart attack mode Keith, not that it's a relief to hear that AdamF is traveling, but we all have our vested interests and AdamV (and not to put any undue pressure on you Adam ;)) is a key cog in the eventual fulfillment of my dream for a reverse angle landing camera  8)

Thanks Ursus, I have not tried that but I'll be on it like a rat on a Cheeto my next time out with a playing companion!

I was playing some turn-based play online today with Starliner640, and realized how much better this mode would be if there was an option for a "Playing Companion" (as it's called in Perfect Golf) camera option.  This is a camera view as if you were looking out of your golfer's eyes, watching your playing companion play their shot, from where your golfer might be standing in real life.  In Perfect Golf, you're not standing directly behind your playing companion with this option enabled, you're standing behind and about 6 to 8 feet to the right of them.  It sells the multiplayer perspective so much better, and cements the idea of the swing camera view as being exclusive to you and your player.   I hope HBS is still on track to offer something like this.

I'd also like to stress again how much I'm enjoying the reverse angle landing camera view in Perfect Golf, even though it's still got some tracking kinks to to work out and still needs some serious help in the pitching, chipping, and putting games.  It's slowly getting there, but when it works like it's supposed to and tracks the ball to the finish without losing sight of it; it's a sight to behold!

Don't play online so not sure if it's different but there is a camera angle that sounds like this in tcg have used it when playing with turn based enabled against ghost balls it shows a side on view of them teeing off like from your players perspective.

Really?  Someone educate me about this.... please  :)

I am alive and well. I'm not going anywhere.  Quick question, does anyone use the approach camera and its cycle-able presets when pitching/flopping onto the green? You can get some really cool views, including reverse.  It's unfortunately not automatic but for anyone who wants to direct their own cinematic story, it's there. my hope is to get these cameras into the replays as well as the much desired auto reverse camera at some point.

Yes, I use the approach cameras and they're very helpful... and yes, the auto reverse landing camera is still  much desired here, even more so after seeing it in operation, but still needing tweaks on the landing end, in Perfect Golf (along with its offset "Playing Companion Camera"  :-*) 8)

I would be happy if I could have seen my last 2,385 right to left putts that were blocked by my golfer on the ps4.

This has to be fixed! Could just move UP rather than having to calculate/decide if the cup can be seen etc.  Just pan camera up over golfers head, move in and up right to his/her eye level...that would be very realistic I feel.

Have the camera move like it does after you hit your tee sheet where it pans up and forward a little past your golfer.  :)
