I was playing some turn-based play online today with Starliner640, and realized how much better this mode would be if there was an option for a "Playing Companion" (as it's called in Perfect Golf) camera option. This is a camera view as if you were looking out of your golfer's eyes, watching your playing companion play their shot, from where your golfer might be standing in real life. In Perfect Golf, you're not standing directly behind your playing companion with this option enabled, you're standing behind and about 6 to 8 feet to the right of them. It sells the multiplayer perspective so much better, and cements the idea of the swing camera view as being exclusive to you and your player. I hope HBS is still on track to offer something like this.
I'd also like to stress again how much I'm enjoying the reverse angle landing camera view in Perfect Golf, even though it's still got some tracking kinks to to work out and still needs some serious help in the pitching, chipping, and putting games. It's slowly getting there, but when it works like it's supposed to and tracks the ball to the finish without losing sight of it; it's a sight to behold!
