I've just created a 36 hole, 2 round tournament at Vallentuna Golf Klubb - Sweden, on each platform to see how consistent the winds are across platforms and whether they shift direction and speed consistently from round to round.  If you play the XB1 version of the tournament listed as Global Wind Gala in the Tournament section, please post the wind direction on the first and tenth tees
and wind speed range that you see for each of the two rounds in this thread... and of course, your score to make it interesting  :)

There will be a thread for this tournament in each platform's Tours and Tournaments' sections if you want to compare notes.

11 MPH, wind blowing out to 1 o-clock in round one on the first tee.  I'll post the wind direction and speed on #10 tee also.  I haven't teed off yet... just standing on the tee.

Great idea!

Thanks... hope you'll be playing it.  I'm on the fourth hole now and the wind hasn't budged one iota from 11 MPH so far.  I'm almost going to be disappointed if it doesn't vary at least a couple or three MPH... this just seems to laboratory like. :-\

It's supposed to still be gusting 1-3mph deviation.

Just played both rounds, and kept check all the way round:

Round 1 - 10-12 S-SW
Round 2 - 14-16 S-SW

Interestingly, the wind definitely doesn't deviate as much as it used to during the rounds. Looks good so far!

Thanks Gary and Smallz... nice to know it's supposed to deviating 1 to 3 mph, and in fact it has been seen to do that in Gary's rounds.  Also good to see that it did change from round 1 to round 2!

It does. It was the middle of my 2 ranges most of the time, but changed a little bit along the way, up and down. Also from S to SW, but again, very little.

The additional 3 mph average winds of round 2 were pretty telling on my results.  I think I shot  at 73 in the second round, after at 65 in the first.  My winds for round 2 were 13 to 15 mph, more out of the SW, as opposed to SSW in round 1.
