Where do you download extra courses from, and do you have to pay.

I *think* you can still download them for free from the link in this post:

LOL!

Ummmm... there is a HUGE thread in the off-topic area but I warn you that it's of limited value.

But yes, many of us have played JNPG.  Some like it, some despise it.
oh really excellent I will take a look, how can anyone despise it, I just download Augusta for it and it's stunning

I got Augusta from PGLS website and they are free, downloaded Carnoustie aswell)

We must be nearing An announcement of something epic if this topic hasn't been closed out.
I played pg for a few years and, while I enjoyed having a selectable difficulty setting for everyone the game went nowhere in the 2.5 yrs I was playing.  They got the jack nicklaus title and then crapped out.  That games on, what's it up to now,,,,... A 5 yr beta?

It's chugging along.... a few of us are still putting out new courses and playing around with some new techniques.

But there is a decided feeling there of an uncertain future.... Trackman is making new courses but there is almost nothing happening by way of official releases or announcements, at least on the console / PC side of things.

I've been dabbling in both games lately and finding things I like and don't like about both of them. I've also been putting together some bare bones courses in Unity for a developer of a smartphone golf game.

Perfect Golf is great but I fear the glacial pace of development and promotion will ultimately doom it.

some of those camera angles on pg are fantastic, just like broadcast on tv, so it can be done, how hard is it to create a course on pg, I bet its not as easy as the course designer on tgc.
bring on 2019 tgc.

I actually prefer Perfect Golf's full-on, 180 degree reverse landing camera to TGC 2019's, 120/130 degree'ish, landing cuts.

I applaud him for doing so... this seed you have planted, Sir Stan, deserves to bear all of its fruit from its own vine!  8)
