After months of practice with the designer and when I finally laid this hole down, my favorite is still my first hole of my first published course. Elmvale Golf and Country Club. It was a break through for me. I have been subjecting the community to my crap ever since.

Courses Created:
Coastal Taipan
Rattlesnake Pointe
Bethpage State Park Black Course
Glen Abbey GC
Horned Viper GC (Gold Tees)
Thousand Islands Golf and CC

Why do i play with a female avatar? Because I would rather look at an ugly female than a pretty male.....

Great thread.  I doubt I'll ever have time to do a proper job on a course, but I'm a huge fan and visit this forum mainly to discover courses.

The next level question is why do these holes capture your heart more than others?

I'm noticing that there are a lot of climbing holes and that the water features are not "do or die."  The holes are realistic and subtle.

I love the 17th in my latest creation, skylarks:

And also, the 11th, a short, downhill par 4 at Muniellos(despite the fact it has a few flaws):

By the way, as usually, great photos by Vic

Some absolute stunning holes created on here
Shame we cannot have a greatest hits compilation of favourite holes as a full course from all you talented designers.

What a round of golf that would be    8)

I'm out on business again for a week so can't share mine yet, but was thinking if people could share their favorite par3, par4, and par5.  3 screenshots with a little blurb about the creation of the hole.  Loving the thread and idea.

18th on Ballylough is one of the best driveable par 4s in game as well.

ok, so I just put together the pro tee version of The Homestead and I think I have an answer to this question.

It may not be the most impressive hole I've made from a visual standpoint or anything... but I freaking love hole 12 on The Homestead.
It's a med-long par 5 that will USUALLY need 3 shots to reach but can be had in two if done right or with any wind help. The drive isn't easy but it's a great view from the tee. The 2nd shot gives you a couple choices... you can go a little short of the ditch and play to the right a little...or you can go over the ditch playing to the left. You'll be flirting with bunkers if you do though. The green is a lovely little thing too. I really really dig this hole.

Go play it and you'll go "Oh yeah...I dig this one too!"
