I just published my latest course.  It is a desert course called The Tarantula Golf Club.  It plays to 7,166 yards with firm fairways with medium firmness greens.  The green speeds are at the top level (187 feet).  I used some custom textures to present the course in a lush environment.   Interestingly, I actually maxed out the planting meter with this course.  I wanted to test if I could publish it and also how it would play on consoles.    It published in less than 5 seconds (thanks 950mb upload speed!  :) )  I just played it on my XB1 and it loaded up/played just fine.

I wanted to test it before turning it into an Official course so you need to search for it at the moment.  It is not in the HB Official List just yet.

Thanks guys!

I am going to give it a play on the PS4 to check how it plays there.  If anyone wants to play along, I should be on the tee in a few minutes.

Slight change of plans as I need to write an article first.  I will hit the course later and will post a message when I am heading back to the tee.

Very nice desert course. Played fine on the PS4 in spite of the max objects. Great finishing hole where you can go for the green.

Good job Keith.
My major critic (as usual): 1st cut. If you check Wicki (german) for what rough means and then compare with the description in English you see where the difference is.  ;)

Could you please stop doing this - MANY golf courses have a first cut and in our part of the world it's common.

Missing a fairway by 2 inches and having a buried lie isn't a great place to be by any means.

You are basically saying "I don't personally like this so therefore you're wrong".  It's a preference

I promise you if you teed it up at my golf course you'd be hoping and praying for a little help just off the fairway :)

Looks like you missed my point.
Europe: 3-7 cm = semi rough (1st cut), up to 15 cm = semi rough (2nd cut), both mowed regularly, rough = heavy rough -> any higth mowed 1 or 2 times a year if at all.
US: 3-7 cm = rough (= EU semi 1st cut),  up to 15 cm = rough (=EU semi 2nd cut), heavy rough = EU rough.
Typically, if some US player talks about rough he means what we call semi-rough here and if European guys talk about rough they talk about what you call heavy rough or wilderness. In the end its just a question of definition and does not have any effect to your game. But it is a very common source of missunderstandings.  ;)
