Designers,
Start thinking about a one hole, wacky par 3.  It has to look good, representing the best that the GNCD can offer.  There will be a contest coming up very soon and everyone is invited.  We need your best looking, wackiest par 3 hole that you can design.  More details to follow but just know that lots and lots of people might have the potential to see this hole being played.  Be as creative as you want just make sure the hole is actually playable.

The contest will open soon and the window will probably be about 2 weeks to submit your course.  It's just one hole so it shouldn't take too long.  So start thinking about ideas now and feel free to start working on them.  We will have the full contest details soon and there will be a prize for the winning entry!

Sounds fun... I have several ideas tbh, mainly because I have thought about them before but they are a bit much to do as a 9 or 18 holer... but a 1 hole is definitely a go .  Might take a while, best get started

The pessimist in me says, "Do we really need an influx of one hole courses into the already cluttered course database?". On the other hand, I'm not sure any influx of courses is even more than a blip on the radar when you are talking about 100,000 total courses.

With that said, expect "Golden Bell" to go head to head with 17 at Sawgrass.
