"Real Course Tour - April 16"
1. Fox Chapel
2. Crooked Stick
3. Stonebridge GC - Ottawa
4. Torrey Pines South

Just finished this one, and I have to say, I really enjoyed all 4 courses. Fox Chapel was outstanding, and Crooked Stick exceeded expectations. Stonebridge was a nice, realistic style public course, and Torrey was way better than I thought it would be. The cliffs and ravines were outstanding.

Only 4 plays so far on PS4, folks are really missing out here.

I decided to split this one up into two parts, so version 4 and version 5 are both now available. Version 4 features new courses only, while version 5 features revamps of old courses only.

To have 9 brand new courses this shortly after version 3 was released is incredible, and thanks so much to all of the designers!

"Real Course Tour v4 - New Edition"
1. TPC at Sawgrass (Blacks)
2. Congressional CC (Sunday)
3. Southern Hills Country Club
4. Riviera Country Club - Thursday
5. Golf Club of Houston
6. TPC Stadium Course Scottsdale
7. Chicago Golf Club - final ed
8. Lighthouse Sound-Ocean City '16
9. Hillcrest Golf & CC

"Real Course Tour v5 - Revamp Edition"
1. Muirfield 2013 Open (Saturday)
2. Pittsburgh Field Club (Thurs.)
3. PGA West (Palmer)[Sunday] '16
4. Royal Birkdale 2016 (Thur)
5. Tobacco Dunes(Thursday)
6. St. Andrews Stadium Edition
7. Chambers Bay 2016 (Sunday)
8. Magnolia National 2016 (Sunday - Max Firm)

I was thinking today and hope TGC2 supports these courses or provides therapy for the designers of these courses.

Hundreds and thousands of hours of work went into so many of these spectacular creations. At the very least I hope we could use the files again and republish after adding in any new features.
Courses Created:
Coastal Taipan
Rattlesnake Pointe
Bethpage State Park Black Course
Glen Abbey GC
Horned Viper GC (Gold Tees)
Thousand Islands Golf and CC

Why do i play with a female avatar? Because I would rather look at an ugly female than a pretty male.....

Just finished v3 on PS4, and after a dreadful -1 at the Magnolia Par 3, I lost my lead over Mauerpauer and finished 2 shots back. At some point I might have to swing back through the first 3 tours to see if I can improve.

I am placing the holding list here for v6 as new courses come out:

1. Bethpage
2. The Belfry
3. Sunningdale Old
4. Barefoot-Dye
5. Stonebridge GC
6. Conklin Players Club
7. Fox Chapel
8. Crooked Stick

Hopefuls:
Oakmont
Montreux
Oakland Hills

Question for anyone and everyone. These real course tours aren't getting many plays. Is 12 courses a turn off for a lot of people? Should I break these down to about 4 courses each?

I just think it's a shame that there are so many great real courses coming out and no one really is playing these.

I think people want to pick and choose what they want to play and when.  Take Tour 3 for example: I want to play Pebble Beach, but I don't want to go through eight rounds at other courses in which I'm not interested, just to finally get to Pebble.

I think that's a problem for all tours.  Unless there is some sort of organized event, people aren't going to play the tours.
TGC2 Courses:
Transylvania Municipal Golf Park
Glacier Meadow Par 3 Nine
Acacia National
Bearded Pelican Golf Links

TGC1 Courses:
The Golf Club at Hylan Park
Crescentic Bay Golf Course
La Playa Vacia Golf Retreat
El Toro Golf Club

Thanks for the feedback! I pretty much agree, and I think that maybe a 4 course tour on a regular interval might be more popular. There seems to be enough RCR's coming out to fill out this demand, but I can always plug some of the already used courses back in from time to time.

I've finally completed playing v4 of the Tour, so I am ready to introduce another (even though I still need to play v5).

I've switched a 4 course format, with the aim of a) more players, and b) one new tour each month. Here is the latest edition for the rest of March

"Real Course Tour - March 16"
1. Bethpage State Park Black Course by BoomBoom
2. The Belfry - The Brabazon
3. Sunningdale (old course)
4. Barefoot-Dye

All versions are now listed in the OP, including upcoming courses, as well.

Just finished v5 of the tour a few days ago. Came in first out of two players at -64. Thanks to Yeltzman for finishing the tour on PS4, and to Warkitten for almost finishing.

I will begin playing and reviewing the March tour soon, which last I checked had 18 plays on PS4. Looks like the shorter tours are the way to go! In the meantime, the April version is now available:

Real Course Tour - April 16
1. Fox Chapel
2. Crooked Stick
3. Stonebridge GC - Ottawa
4. Torrey Pines South

I enjoy it regardless of how many courses are in there because I prefer the RCRs over fictional courses. But having 4 or 5 going forward may be best to avoid the feeling of going thru a grind to finish the event.
