Definitely can't wait for this one!  I took my 11 year old to watch a practice round at the invitational last year. Got autographs from Rory and rickie.  Rickie was awesome...signed for 30 minutes between Nines.  Rory was the opposite...like pulling teeth to get autographs and we were bloody lucky to get one...most people didn't.

Yea I had the blessing of being able to play 27 there on a business trip.  Stayed there on property!  Got to meet the king and get his autograph.  They have a noon game and if the king is in town he plays!  I was never able to get my schedule to meet up with that but I could have been paired with him, how cool would hat have been...lol!

I love these 4 holes.  Tough dog leg left with water all the way on the left number 3.  Long but reachable par 5 number 4 with lot's of trouble in the landing zones.  Short par 4 (reachable if they move tees up) with some risk reward opportunity.  Then the infamous number 6 just wrenches your body on every shot.  Even if you lay-up,  you have to pick a spot and commit!  And don't be fooled even when you have the 100' approach (in real life) it's a slick green with trouble all around!

The fairways will have just a yard or so of short rough, going to play tough in winds.  Realy excited about this one!

Cool...we followed Rory around that loop as he played his practice round last year.  He wasn't on his game and he was getting frustrated.

only just beginning but here are some preliminary sculpting.  Fairly flat course but with slight undulations everywhere.  Going to get all the major stuff along with the greens done first....

With the confirmation that we will be getting tree (and hopefully all objects) negative scaling I will probably wait to see if this comes in the next update maybe mid june?!?  Otherwise I will see what I can come up with on the trees...right now I'm thinking rural...I know...bleh!

Nope that one I just traced for ReebDoog he's got the file and taking it from here, he's got all the local knowledge there.  I actually played BayHill and got to meet the King!  Been wanting to do this one so I just started right in on it!  lol.

Wanted to play with "what I could get out of what we have today" with the themes...and I always come back to Highlands!  It simply has the best tree mix with bushes and plants!  Dangit HB!!! 

Once we can scale things I think (unless there is a new theme) this will be the landing point...

I'm not so sure about the houses...really want them in the strategic places they are on the course..because they really are "right there"  You practically tee off in someones backyard on 4 (from the tips)  But based on the METER being almost a quarter full with a hand full of tree and some houses (I think the houses are making that meter go up quick!)  I'm not sure.

My Galveston wasn't that bad...but the palms don't take much away from the meter either.  I had a ton of houses on that course....

Will see how it goes...but might continue to plant things....and just end up scaling a few things here and there.  Doubt we get a new Theme that I will love...
