No news from loch Lomond golf Club so cracking on a bit,it started out this as a golf course i just wanted to design and revive old links 2004 days, but like most things i try,Golf course takes over a little.

7th and 8th greens,Clubhouse maybe be too big,

Labour of love this one Yeltz but looks like you're getting there. Obviously not a links course but always enjoyed the Scottish Open when they used to play it here.

Picture of the 17th at loch lomond, the marshland/grass type/water area infront of 17/18 proving a nightmare to get the look.

Doesnt come into play in our game,But im sure VR may come into play.

Toughest Par 3 on the course 235 yards Hole 11,Tough tee shot to a pin left side of the green, also Green plenty of slope on it.

Interesting Features on 2nd hole at loch Lomond it shares a green with the 4th Hole,And a Little brick wall 50 yards from green, separating the fairway.

8th Hole Shortest on the Courses but not the easist.

Design contests not for me,Can't make a RCR look Good on every hole because of hole direction changes on a real Course,Loch lomond for example every hole on back nine goes in a different direction.Far too many judges in these design competitions the judges look for nice looking holes not how the course plays.Sometimes the better courses get overlooked because not pretty flowers and holes playing into the sun.

Back to this course Nearly at a full stop with it to be honest,Need the firmness setting of TGC 2 to be honest to do it justice.

Playable but not sure where to take it.

My view design competitions don't deserve RCR's in them, especially of this top class.  The time & dedication a proper RCR takes is just light years beyond most fictional courses.....on top of it all unless you've done a recreation I just don't think you could judge, not knowing the effort it takes.  It can become life consuming.

Last 5 Practice Rounds no bogies at Loch Lomond,Sure it will play good VR and Pro tee,But for the proper game Really unhappy.

1st tee links 2004
