I think we have a group of very capable designers. My thought is I will nominate 5 captains, who will basically be the project leader for their team. I will then randomly draw names to create a draft order. Via snake draft, each captain will pick a designer for their team. If you are not familiar with a snake draft, that means it will go like this for the order of picks. Team 1, 2,3,4,5,5,4,3,2,1. So the captain that picks first will then have the last pick of the draft. So while the 5th team will pick last in the first round, they will get the 1st pick of the 2nd round. So they will get the 5th and 6th designer drafted.
It will be up to each team to decide on how to create their course. Everything from course theme and course name to who designs what on their course. The work does not have to be 6 holes each. If you have an expert planter, maybe you want to have them do the planting on the course? Maybe someone else would do all the rock work. It's completely up to each team. Consider this a test of team/course management!
Each team will have plenty of time to complete their course. It will obviously take more time than normal since you will be coordinating with multiple people and having to send the course file back and forth. Please make sure to protect that course file! On PC, it is only saved locally so there is nothing I can do if that course file gets lost or deleted.
Here are the designers that I would like to select as Captains. These are in completely random order. I have not chosen the draft order yet. Changing your team name is thoroughly encouraged! Would be great to see some creativity among the teams there as well. Please keep it clean. :-)

There really aren't many rules here. The one thing that I ask is that the course is brand new. Please do not start with an already created file or template.
The main thing is to have fun with this contest! Once I have contacted the captains I will work on getting the draft order set up.
