Progress is slower than expected, so definitely a TGC2 project for sure. If you did not see the post in the General room, this course is being built upon the base file generously provided by rsuslow.

Looking good !!!!  I'm doing something similar in the Countryside Theme now, although not an RCR.  Very hilly track though.  And you know I'm going to get some rock work in there..... lol.

After watching the US Open all weekend this one looks like it would be fun to sculpt, really some outrageous elevation cutting through the fw's which really created some strategy off the tee regarding ball placement to create the best angle to attack the green. I liked this course more than I expected as it seemed to offer a unique challenge compared to some of the "classic" US Open tracks.

Really looking forward to this one, pics look great!

looks like a monster, wish they had played it as a par 70 and it had wind all 4 days. Would have seen over par win probably.m

If they did, we would have seen a lot of thrown clubs, and heard a lot of crying ...
But seen a better U.S. OPEN ... This one was like watching a Lawn-darts match.

A beautiful course, defenseless with no teeth.

Looks great so far!  One thing I did notice was on the picture of the tee shot of #2, the walking bridge is alot longer in real life:

I know you said you were working off a base file so not sure if that was already put in or not.  Also not sure of the limitations you may have within the designer.  Just something I noticed. Looks awesome though.

Each hole in the file was traced, but the holes aren't placed 100% accurately in relation to each other, so things like that bridge are out of place. Getting stuff like that to be accurate would pretty much entail starting the course over. So in general, this course will be much less precise than what I would produce from scratch. For the most part I am just trying to capture the look, feel, and how it plays.

Looks great and I'm sure like all your courses it will play very well. The only bad thing might be not having enough room for all the grass planted. Also that tall grass having no effect on the ball if you hit into it.

I was not in the beta so maybe the course designer can handle almost covering the course. At least here you will save room on trees barely present.

Again to me this was a PGA championship course not a US open course.Glad USGA going back to the classic courses in the next few years.5 min walks from greens to tees to me i could not see how the amateur golfer would enjoy there round there.Saying all that i reckon course will play well in a video game.
