It looks great after I switched every setting to maximum.... Nothing worse than seeing those trees pop in view.  :)

I love my beast pc and 1080 card. Smooth putting, smooth swinging!

Too bad they didn't release the game a couple of weeks ago on PC so they could have fixed all these little issues people are having.

I can only agree ! I love the game so far, only had little server issues the first few rounds, but that was resolved soon after.

The game is amazing in every aspect and I already played hours and hours. Not sure if a handicap of 1.2 is good but heh  ;D

Playing at 1440P with a 1070 GTX and I was able to crank literally everything to the maximum right out of the gate without issues, which means there's basically no item pop-in on any hole, which I love. Looks fantastic, plays great. Excellent effort.

if your looking into the sun everthing goes real dark and looses color, other than that it looks pretty sweet

I only have the game on my ps4.  It's good and I enjoy sitting back on the big screen playing but was wondering if it's any sharper on pc?  Anyone have both?  I played the beta on my quad core amd. R9 laptop.

A lot of the time it's way too bright!  All detail is lost due to extreme bloom!  Imported courses suffer from this even more.  Look again at the players in bright light.  Look at tree trunks and bunkers in bright light.  It way too bright and there is no setting to help with it.

I have i7 7700 + GTX1080 + 16Gb ram

I can run 4k res on Ultra but it's 30fps. I can get 60 fps if I drop it to Low, but even then it fluctuates.

Wish there was a video scaling option so I could scale it down while keeping 4k Ultra. (I play on a 4k TV, only supports 1080p or 4k res, nothing in between.)

I think it's high time that someone from hb acknowledges this lighting issue and can passify us a bit.  At least let us know you see it?  Everyone is complaining about it... It's the #1 complaint I hear with everyone I play.

This ! ! !

I thought my eyes would adjust to the unnatural (and awful looking in my opinion) lighting in this game but it is bothering me more and more.

Tonight I played a course that looked fantastic in TGC1 and because of this horrible brightness in TGC2 I got a headache. Hopefully this gets fixed ASAP !

Low sun is the culprit.  Every time it looks washed out the sun is low and causing long shadows.

I think its more than that, I hit the ball on a drive and as usuall it follows the ball, its a bright sunny day and all is good, but as the ball hits its apex, and starts down
it just all of a sudden goes dark like a eclipse just happened, it last for a second and then all is bright a sunny again

I've played many game other than The Golf Club that have low sun and are not washed out like this.  You know damn well it is not low sun exclusive.  It happens throughout this game.  We've played enough together to know we don't play low level sun all that much. Come on man!  My course had it until I made it rain the entire round and it didn't have low level sun.

It does seem worse with low sun quite honestly.   I agree it's sporadic and not quite right.
