By going low with the putting Camera and lookng at the putt from multipel angles.

Feels near impossible in the beginning but is very possible after some practice.

The putting marker can be used to confirm break as well by sweeping it over the surface and checking the elevation number. That’s great for practice but personally I don’t like it as it’s less “sim”.

Some of it is deduction as well. General lay of the land, tiers, how the ball behaved on previous shot etc. Pretty much same tricks as in real golf.
