Cathalos,

I think your custom logo is fine and light blue is still crap!

Try this colour copy
Your going to pick at the logo?? Really?? Thats what your focussing in on?? Get a grip buddy :)

I'm honest with you.  Your custom logo is fine but...you picked different colour light blue is awful on logo RCR Tour.
Firstly the colour is the light blue simply because it catches the eye straight away. So when people are looking for societies mine will be the first the eye sees. Secondly this is a golf game, the logo of my society doesnt mean a thing, the tournaments and the courses are all that matter :)

Played the TPC Southwind. The course looks great, can definitely see your developing as a designer. Only 2 things that I would look to work on is

1 - You go from fairways straight into heavy rough. The only light rough you have is short of the green. It would be worthwhile to add a thin line of light rough around the fairways and greens. Nobody should be punished that much for a ball rolling off the fairway.

2- Bunkers look very flat. I wasn't in one during the round, so.I purposefully hit my shot into a bunker on 18 and it seemes to be very flat, i would get to work on deepening those to add some.more difficulty. Right now the bunkers are very easy to play from.

Either way ill be including it in the season :)

Well
Apparently I need a lot of practice. I don't belong in the same stratosphere as you other golfers in this league. Just shot 2 rounds at Baltusrol this morning. A 95 and a 98 are extremely embarrassing to say the least. I love this game and these original courses are a real treat to play, so I hate to quite playing. it's just really embarrassing.

My main problem is keeping my tee shots in the fairways. I either slice or fade ever single tee shot and end up in a hazard or deep rough. Pretty hard to score birdies and even pars when your second shot is always from the rough. Any suggestions on hitting my drives straight, other than a lot of practice?

Thanks for being patient with me :-[

Hey sorry meant to come back to this earlier and forgot. For me its all about finding the most suitable club selection first, theres Tour, Player & Standard. For me I started with Player as I wasnt playing enough so it was easy pick it up after a while of not playing and be reasonably ok.

From there I would just go to the Driving range before your rounds and keep hitting shots while trying to find your swing. So for me to hit it straighter I use the right side of the touch pad on the PS4 controller as a line to pull the analog back straight. Its not perfect, but its a pretty good gauge.

Realistically there is a number of ways to play  the game, each person will have a different way. Some will try to hit straight, some will try to perfect draw and fade shots, best advice I can give is to use the driving range before your rounds and get comfortable with your swing method and tempo.

To improve overall scores, my advice there would be to pick 3 shots from scoring clubs (7-iron to Lob Wedge) and try to perfect them in order to either help you maximise the amount of birdie opportunities you get or to bail you out when things aren't going so great. My 3 shots are -
45 pitch with a LW
125-135 full shot with a PW
Bunker shot with a LW

Thankfully i find myself to be reasonably good at all other shots but these are shots that I find myself guaranteed to hit multiple times each round.

Hey thanks a lot for the advice and encouragement. I never thought of switching to a different set of clubs. I'm not even sure what I'm using, but will check it out. Have patience with me, i'll get better  :D

Welcome to the WGC US Championship from Baltusrol, Springfield, New Jersey hosted by RCR World Tour.

We have a fantastic event lined up for you all with a beautiful looking course that I expect to play pretty fairly.

Entry - 1000c
Payout - 100%
Bonus - 8000c

Course Setup:

Tees - Black - 7603yds

Pin Locations:
Round 1 - Pin 1
Round 2 - Pin 2
Round 3 - Pin 3
Round 4 - Pin 4

Fairways - Firm
Greens - Firm
Green Speed - Fast

Course Difficulty - Medium

2 Aids Removed
- Wind Speed OFF

As this is a premier event on the season we have included it in the major like setup. This means its a four round tournament with a couple of aids removed just to increase difficulty a little. This is our last 4 round tournament before the US Masters, our first major of the year.

Best of luck everyone :)

I saw you listed on TPC Southwind Memphis, Tennessee. New Event title call "FedEx St. Jude Classic"
Your note Fedex St.Jude Classic...you forget capital word "Ex".

Okay. Nothing wrong.   :)

RCR World Tour - Members Big Bonus Event

Our big bonus event is just around the corner and there is 84000c so far in the big bonus which is awesome. This is thanks to all the support each tournament and the odd donation.

Few things to note regarding the event:
- You must be a member of the society on or before Sunday 19th of November. Membership will then remain closed until event is over.
- You must have played in at least 1 event so far this season to compete in the tournament. Anybody who plays the tournament without a previous entry will be removed.
- If RCR World Tour is a society that you continuously join and leave from time to time, you will need to submit a request to join before you can play. You will be accepted pending evidence of previous membership.
- It will be a 2 Round - 1 Day Event. 500c entry fee with 100% payout.

We are still accepting donations if any member has spare coins, we would love to have the bonus over 100000c. TIA
