Hi

I'm doing a RCR of my local course Frome Golf Club which closed nearly two years ago.

Anyway when doing a certain hole the auto green makes the green too large for what it needs to be,

The only way round this is the put the green placement further back to where it's wider but then the hole isn't the right distance.

so can you add in the ability to put the auto green down the zero so I can get the greens the right size, distance and shape?

The smallest I can go is 10 yds X 11 yds.

How much smaller is the green you want to put in?

That's not an RCR of a miniature golf course, is it?   :P ;)

Its narrow at the front, and gets wider as the green goes back,

the distance for the hole should be 142 yards, but at this distance the auto green is too wide for what it should be.

So I've had to move the green back to the the wider part but its now 150 yards, which isn't correct.

You can set fairway and rough to 0 so why can't we set the green to 0?

Just make the green the correct size, and drop the auto gen one in the bigger portion and just move the pin to the yardage you want

What Enef said.

Just redo the hole but first lay out with distance markers from tee to the larger section of green for correct yardage.

Then build the hole from there.

Unfortunately it is impossible to exactly recreate a golf course. You can get close, but you'll never get it exactly.
