Over the past couple of days I have noticed that the backswing will stop at a random lengths from the ball and I have to stop and start the swing again multiple times to get a full backswing. As far as I can remember this does not happen when you do a practice swing. I remember this was an issue in TGC1 also. I am using an official PS4 controller (the one that came with my PS4 console) on my PC Windows 10 64 bit and I get around 50-60 fps in game.

See if a mouse does the same thing?

Is the PS4 controller wired or wireless?

I'm using a mouse and from time to time there is a significant lag when I start the back swing. It only occurs  at the beginning of the swing.  Once I stop and start over the problem goes away.

I think most of us get this "hitch" in our swing every once in a while.

Well I just played 9 holes on a course and didn't have the issue one time.... First time when I played and noticed the issues was about 9:00 am US Central. This time I didn't have the issue appear once was at 3:20pm, so it may be have something to do with the server, don't really know just throwing the idea out there. I tried the mouse, it worked fine, but that was just about 20 minutes ago when the controller worked fine. I always connect the controller with the usb cable to the computer.

I am using an x box 360 controller since I am unable to get the mouse to work properly just get slow and very slow swings have adjusted mouse sensitivity from 30 to 35 and 40 with no improvement in he swing.

Just thought i'd throw this in. About 3 weeks ago i upgraded to fiber optic 150mbps up/down, the game plays flawlessly for me..i know, when i make a bad swing.. Xbox1 controller, very sensitive, but, no other problems.

I could not play 2 with my 360 controller..it was pretty horrendous..ha..just sayin'..
