Coming to Xbox and optimized for the X.  Should be awesome.

Just to show you how tuned out I am, I'd never even heard of this game until you mentioned it yesterday in another thread.  I looked it up and was impressed with what I saw and read about it.  They're closing in on 2,000,000 concurrent players!? Even more than DOTA 2!!??  Since this is going to be console exclusive for the XBox One for at least a half a year, it would be big for Microsoft.

The XBox One X one enhanced version being ready at launch of PUBg will no doubt be a boost for the XBox One X!

I suck so badly at games like this that my sons used to get their friends to gather round and watch me try to play them.  They'd all be holding their gut and horse laughing me as I'd last 30 seconds at best after respawing, playing the latest Battleground of the day :-[ :D

Yea this game has 10 million sold already. Be very interested to see how it does on the X. Still no official release on the game but I'm guessing it has to be around the launch of the X.

Of course my wife planned a vacation the week of the 7 th so mine will be sitting in my office at work where my mail comes. The last vacation was on the week TGC 2 came out lol. I think I see a pattern here.

This is for the preview version.   Not sure if I am going to get it.  To be honest, I bought it on PC and have only played it once or twice.

I think they said the full release is expected in April?

Probably because it is an online game only. HB is not into online game play lol.

It has sold close to 10 million from what I have read. What I like the most about it is there is no respawn. From videos it looks like it is a blast to play especially with friends.

My concern would be how it will do on the Xbox 1. Not sure it can handle it. But I will have the X so it should run well on that.

I am looking forward to the XB1X next week.  Hoping it is not just hype regarding the power of the console.   :)

It is an interesting game for sure.  No respawn seems very tough to pull off.  I wouldn't think many people would want to wait until the game ends to get back into the action.  So far it seems like it is working for them and Fortnight.

You don't have to wait for the game to end to get back into the action. Once you die you can leave and go join another round.

I guess you never played Socom on Ps2 or 3. Having no respawn makes the game a lot of fun. Makes the game way more intense.  Funny thing is with Socom when you died you would could talk to other dead people.  My guess is this will be one of the better games for the the X.  It will be interesting to see what EA does with BF5 and the X.  That could be the game of 2018.

No, I never played Socom.  I never had a PS before the PS4.

Fortnight seems to be doing pretty well so far on XB1.  I would guess PUBG will do well also.  Not sure why but I am not playing BF1 nearly as much as I did BF4.  Not sure if it's the game setting but also partly because the 2-3 people I was playing BF4 with have been playing other games instead of BF1.  It will be interesting to see what BF5 is all about.

Socom was way ahead of its time that is for sure.

Fortnight is ok but for me to cartoony.

Yea same here with BF1. I stopped playing it. One of the main reasons was I like hardcore and they changed it from Bf4. You cannot tell who is who in hardcore which is hardcore lol but when it only takes a couple bullets to die it becomes a twitch fest. Also because its WW1 the weapons suck. Also the maps all look the same to me.  IMOP they should have done WW2 if they wanted to go back in time. I bet that would have done better. I hope they go current with Bf5. They could go middle east, N Korea,  Russia , China and even on the Homeland.
