In no particular order, my top 5 fictional courses:

Turu Wero
Tarwa Golf Club
Hopeshire Golf Club
Quinns Vineyard at Pinot Creek
Smugglers Notch Golf Club

For beauty and playability, I don't think you'll find a better group.  You may find some that are as good, but none better.

How did I make a twelve on a par five hole? It's simple - I missed a four foot putt for an eleven.

Devon Quarry (Tour) is by far my favorite.

it is a spectacular course and I have heard it was this designer's first effort?

No, it wasn’t Eric’s first course. I believe Overfield CC was his first public publish. But your point is well taken — it’s an excellent, and demanding course (SW mandatory). The Club at Ravenswood is another Nesbit creation, and he’s working on a highlands-themed course at the moment that looks spectacular!

There is some great courses out there for sure.  I tend like to go for those that challenge my game.  I just do not see the fun shooting -15 plus due greens approach too easy.  I think this ends up showing in the fantasy courses I have created so far.  One which absolutely became brutal challenge had to do update soften it little.  Doing fantasy gives you license to use the fantasy to learn idea's and experiment.  Currently doing one to see how much grass can be planted as next RCR is grassland.   I can see the balance what user see's to out of sight where you can get away from heavy planting.

Royal Thistle Athletic

Mix of Pebble Beach, St. Andrews and one or two other links courses it looks like, possibly Carnoustie.

This looks great. I live just 5 minutes from Starbank park at newhaven Edinburgh. The park is far too small for a full size course but would look quite similar if it had more room. Great stuff from the designer.
My courses

Panama Dunes
The Beachcomber
Marble Brae Links
Deadwood Straits GC

I only just found out Predator from Tiger Woods games was recreated, and recreated so well.

Is any of the other fantasy courses from Tiger Woods (or if any were in Rory?) made for TGC2, but perhaps under different names?

Used to love playing Highlands, Emerald Dragon, Wallaby Creek, Black Rock Cove, Central Park, Greek Isles and Penguin Falls.
