Thanks for specifying that Shaun, and KingPlayer, that's probably why you saw no difference between the PC and XBox One versions.  Outstanding, and I commend HBS for doing this!

Enhanced or not? I'm guessing no. I understand why you guys can't confirm it.

Good try but I bet they don't want to tip their hand on this... yet  ;)

Can something like this be added as a patch or DLC?

Yes it has been done already on many console games to date for PS4 and XB1

It was done for Elite: Dangerous on the XBox One X as a patch... that's the one example I have in my collection, but as burton31cat says above, it's only one of many which have been.

EDIT: I still think it's possible for HBS to simply put a render scale option, like the PC version of TGC 2019 had in the Stress Test build, in the XBox One X and PS4 Pro versions.  The Render Scale worked great in the Stress Test build and you could go above or below the default resolution (1080p) in increments of 1%.  Let the game find the balance of image quality versus frame rate performance that best suits them.  I see other games which have fixed render resolution options, while others - like Titanfall 2 - have dynamic rendering options, varying from 1440p to 1800p.

No, but the original Forza Horizon has (as I'm just learning!) and FH3 have.  I didn't buy 3 after trying the demo, as I found its handling model to be too arcadey for my tastes.  The original Forza Horizon is my favorite of the three.  I'm curious to see if they're going to get back to offering a more simulation oriented handling option in Horizon 4 before I bite.  The video looks astonishing for it though.

No one has streamed anything from TGC 2019? Not even using Periscope?

I was part of the multiplayer testing and the play and look on the Xbox looked the same to me as on the computer so I think XboxOne players will be quite happy with TGC2019.

KingPlayer, I meant to ask you this Tuesday night; when you were playing around with the Stress Test version on your PC last week, did you by chance happen to experiment with the Render Scale option under the Advanced Graphics settings?

The reason I'm asking this is that if the XBox One version defaults to 1080p, as does the PC version, they would both come up in the same res, out of the box.  However, if the XBox One version "looked the same to you as on the computer", it would have to have a quality render distance and object detail level closer to the PC version, than what we now have in TGC 2.  Since Shaun has stepped in and confirmed that HBS is using an XBox One X - and again, I applaud them for doing so - to show off TGC 2019 at E3, then I'd speculate that you may have already seen some evidence of XBox One X 'Enhancement'.

KingPlayer reported two days ago that cameras are verboten inside the TGC 2019 venue.

Disappointing. E3 is supposed to be the place to showcase new games. With E3 allowing the public in for the first time in lieu of how social media has played a big role in "free marketing", this is really surprising.

Hopefully HB rethinks this and allows some to be released. It can do nothing but benefit the game.
