The problems of designing a real course here you have the 12th green bunker on right,4th green right distance,13th green with water, and way in distance the 5th fairway bunker left side of fairway.

Saw the US Open here in 1991 as a teenager.  Spent most of the time following a very young Phil Mickelson around the course.

Looks great, any particular reason you're doing it in TGC1?  Do you have a sim?

its TGC2,spent around just a month trying to get the routeing correct,Thought i would finish it in tgc 2019 but i am having trouble importing courses in tgc 2019 and not keen on the designer at moment in there as well.

Big problem as well from google earth ryder cup scan.....they have cut some more trees down since.

Doh!  Don't know why I thought this was in the TGC1 subforum.  Wonderful course and there should be a lot of good info on it out there.

How far along are you?  You let me know if you need any help playtesting, eh?

Very nice.  Did you use a stretched out rectangular brush for that teeing area?  I love how you can manipulate the brushes now.

Funny how TGC never seems to correctly portray a realistic sense of distance, ( 1st 2 pics ) it's like playing in x 2 zoom.  Approach shots and and par 3's seem to lose that sense of angst when they look closer than they actually are..shame...good work though.

i 100% understand what you talking about, played course on tiger 11 the other day and everything looks bigger and closer but with google earth and Ryder cup strokesaver things do match up,but yes feels so different.

It's a bit like when you measure the bunkers, they seem to small in game, then the grass and bushes i feel too big,Saying that without HB no real golf to play on console,so credit were credit is due.

well after about 2 months of measuring and moving and getting the bunkers and fairways down, time to work on Hole by Hole now,Amazing only just noticed since ryder cup scan was done,Hazeltine removed alot of trees so even more work to do.

16th and 9th hole.

Seriously good stuff!
How did I make a twelve on a par five hole? It's simple - I missed a four foot putt for an eleven.
