Today I started plotting and creating the landscape for the Gary Player Country Club in Sun City, South Africa. Home to the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

Really tricky getting the surrounding mountains looking correct, and due to the length of the course it may be quite a squeeze (almost 8000 yards). Could possibly fall flat and not see the light of day.

However, now at least there's a thread for it, do let me know if there's already a version under a different title that may be in the queue for transfer to 2019. I never found a decent effort on TGC2.

Thanks for this, could be helpful.

Actually finding up to date imagery and yardages is a nightmare for this RCR. Everything is also measured in meters which is a pain, and the course changes almost yearly with little documentation. The best I can do is follow the imagery and information on the Nedbank Golf Challenge website, and create the course as closely as possible while incorporating some improvisation along the way. There are some amazing 360 videos on YouTube , but only of a few holes.

The tee boxes on this course are also super confusing! Some holes have 3 tees while the next hole has up to 7 tees... Figuring out what is what is quite a headache.
