Why when I place a bird is it stuck on the ground. I can’t seem to adjust the height. Anyone else seen this?

If flies when playing. It is on the ground when designing so you can see where you've place it.

I think that it's tied to elevation and topography on the course.  Otherwise you'd have birds flying underground in raises areas or underwater etc....

In my PS4 version is no possibility to create water birds. they do not appear and there isn't any button to elevate water objekts. the other birds fly.

When you’re placing birds they “plant” at the ground level.  When you put one in place you can see it on the ground.  When you’re trying to place them over water you can’t see the ground level because it is underwater.  They will place there, but you won’t be able to see them unless you either catch them during play-testing or after publishing.  They aren’t always there either because they show up in random cycles of the program to make it more realistic.

Thus far since the release of 2019 ... I have had zero success with raising or lowering birds ...

The terrain method also didn't seem to work much if any, either.

You can raise and lower Blimps, Helicopters and balloons with varying success ... But, Birds are broke. Period.

Is there something I'm missing about the flight direction of birds? At first I thought they switched direction if you "replanted" them (simply "moved" them but kept them where they are/put them back in the exact same place). Their flight direction seems totally random to me... Whether they go right or left when testing or playing seems totally random. Is it? Any help on this would be appreciated.

They fly in the general direction you face their head towards when you set them.  They do go in circles though so if you’re on a different hole that isn’t going the same way neither are they.  Also, the Eagles fly a much larger area than the other birds.  I hope this helps
