Set and play a private match with custom rules.
Come back later and change the course for a new private match.
Try to set new custom rules.
Observe the following:
Not all tees are available by default. But some are.
When you select the tees to change the available tees, *none* of the tee check boxes are checked.
Check one or more boxes. Hit Confirm.
You will not see your selection represented by available tees.
Select the tees again.
Once again, *none* of the available tees are checked.
Check the ones you want to be available.
Click Confirm.
Again, tee representation may or may not be correct.
Select Done.
Create Match.
Observe that a tee that was *not* checked is somehow magically available.
Select the tee to change it.
Observe that all of the tees are available, but none have the correct yardages displayed, and they are not sorted in order of shortest --> longest.
Repeat the entire process all day long. Tees and yardages remain wonky.

Now go to local match and repeat all the above steps. Everything works as expected.  This is a bug in the online system.
How did I make a twelve on a par five hole? It's simple - I missed a four foot putt for an eleven.

Yes, this is definitely a bug.

After you complete a round, and change the course, the next round will still have the same tees checked, from the previous round... so that you cannot uncheck those tees in the next round.

It seems like, from your post, that this bug has additional unintended consequences.

It's a huge, gamebreaking bug.

After a live match, everyone, including host should exit in-game chat party, return to Sony UI chat. Start again. Host reinvites to in game party. When everyone is there, create a new match. Verify before clicking "ready" that all show matching tee and flag.

Unfortunately, that has no effect on the bug described in the OP.  But it is a sound procedure for starting any online match with an in-game party.
