We are seeing a few members in The Open Society 2.0 who played in both the Main event and the Alternate event. There is some issue there as well with members not being filtered out by the entry requirements.

Still having issues awarding bonuses for both main and alternate event. To repeat; input 10K for each (20K total) - and only 10K is deducted fron society acct. Plus now having issue with 'Entry Requirements' - Set it to Top 150 points ranked. Along with an alternate. But we've 180 entrants on Day 1 in main 'Top 150' event? Appreciate if devs could take a look at both. TIA.

Still having these issues guys. Would really appreciate a fix. TIA

In addition to the previous postings, here is our List of Issues and Fixes Needed for The Open Society 2.0 and other Societies to function effectively in TGC 2019. We have also attached a Word Document file for Developers to work from if it would be helpful.

1.   The Open Society 2.0 was promised our stats & event history from previous Season (Season 1) which developers ended and hopefully have not deleted when doing their research for issues before the last patch/update.

2.   When adding event “Requirements” for Main & Alternate event, only 2 requirements are visible to members when looking at current or scheduled events. Multiple event requirements can be used (3, 4, 5, etc.) and members would have no idea what they are beyond the first two.

3.   Unable to see the number of participants in Society event after playing the 1st hole/round of an event. Also, unable to see the number of participants in previous events.

4.   More and Better options are needed for “Requirements” which can be used when setting up Main & Alternate events. Two good examples for Requirement options/filters would be members “Stroke Average” or “HCP” (handicap) when setting up Main events & Alternate events. The Requirement filters need to be expanded so the “Highly Skilled Players” can compete against each other in a Main Event and other “Average Skilled Players” would play in the Alternate event. This would make Society events much more fun/fair for ALL members and make for better competitions in Main & Alternate events. It would also save Admins time adjusting HCPs for Society and Monitoring Events (Fair Play Rules, etc.) which would eliminate the need to Ban Players simply due to their skill level.

5.   “Requirements” (filters) for Main Event do not work as they should. Members who should only be playing in Main event are sometimes seen playing in both the Main and Alternate event.

6.   Need “Notifications” in the game to let members know their finishing position, how many points and how many coins they earn each time a Society event ends.

7.   Scoring Average and other member stats (i.e. 18 Hole, 9 Hole, Misc. Stats) do not display unless we tab over 15-20 times to see them.

8.   When logging into a Society “Schedule” the display should go to the current event. It currently defaults to the 1st or some other event in the Season Schedule.

9.   The Play Event tab does not show any of the event Requirements when there is a current/active Main & Alternate event. Members would need to go to Schedule and look for events info.

10.   Bonuses are NOT displayed anywhere in Event Details, Play Event or Scheduled Event.

11.   Need ability to search for Society members by name and sort the members list by HCP, G/T Name, Join Date, etc. With lots of members (800+ in our case) this is a major issue.

12.   Need ability to see all golfer stats, info, etc. (within the Society) when highlighting their name in message board posts, etc.

13.   Requirement filters should allow admins to exclude/include by: Current Season, All Seasons or a Specific Season (any previous season) when setting up requirements.

14.   Message post timestamp is not correct on message board.

15.   Need ability to delete post(s) from Society Message Board.

16.   No way of knowing when and who made a “Donation” to the Society

We have many other ideas, suggestions or fixes we could recommend to make Societies in TGC 2019 more enjoyable and competitive, however, ALL of the items noted in the list above are needed to help Societies function well, help Admins be Admins and help Members want to play and enjoy the game more often. We look forward to a response from developers and/or other Society Admins who might have ideas or suggestions of their own.

The next patch should be fixing this.

Further issues over the weekend include; some members scores not registering forcing them to play event twice. And members being allowed to enter both alternate events.

Looks like 'ELR' Entry Level Requirement or 'Gating' as HBS word it, is working. Additionally it seems 'BPF's' Bonus Prize Funds also seem to be fixed for main and alternate events. Very pleasing to have our divisional structure back in place. Bodes well also for our Super 6 World Series and Super 12 Champion of Champions elimination events too. Cheers HB.. 8)

Getting recurring reports of some members being able to play both main and alternate events - and stats/scores resetting/disappearing. Although the latter generally correct within 24 hours.

Wondering if the developers will be doing anything at all to help Societies function better. So far there have been no changes, fixes or enhancements in the updates/patches for Societies. This is unfortunate because the time will come when less and less people are playing career mode or head to head mode and Societies will be the only place left to keep people engaged until the next version of the game is published. Would like to hear something from the developers on this topic.
