Just a question here?  A while ago.. before the December patch I was playing a round set up by someone else who had played a round at high noon prior to our online round.   Then he went to set up a game online for myself and someone else at high noon. I hated its look. Yet when I went to play my next course and even though I had time of day set to default in my settings it went back to high noon.  So I had to go into time of day. And again, even though time of day was set at default. I had to re select default for the default lighting to return.
I'm asking if this has been patched and I would not want any of the other selectable course options to work this way.  I 've been afraid to adjust anything off of  default as I don't wan  to change things if I don't know if it will read something other than it is.
That's all, just a question if it's been corrected. Thanks

Ahhh...Time of day.  Still at that.  I just played a really great course at noon and it was lovely.  Just kidding, I have been setting my time of day to morning with light clouds.  Personally that has worked out the best for me.

I absolutely LOVE that you can change the time of day and cloud cover from what a designer has done.  Quite often the course is too dark, or has too many shadows.  The morning time of day with light clouds appears to give me the best of both worlds.  Not too washed out by the noon sun, and not too dark as the afternoon/evening setting with shadows all over the greens.

Okay, thanks.  I guess I will experiment with this a bit and see if it happens again.
I would venture to guess , since there is no hb response that this bug has not been corrected. But I may try and see.

I don't care for long shadows on the greens, so I set the time of day to noon.  Yet there are still long shadows on the greens.  I assumed that at noon the sun is pretty much straight up and shadows would be short.  Was I wrong with my thinking?
