  • Without Great Courses There Can Be No Great Golf
« on: February 15, 2019, 11:50:52 PM »
I was having a discussion with a friend about a course I’m currently designing.  I have the holes all laid out in the Highlands theme.  I’m thinking about flipping it to Tropical now that we have the ability to turn trees.  Suddenly the thought came to mind about working on multiple versions of the same course in different themes and then publishing whatever came out best.
I know that I could publish a barebones track and then import it back into the designer to rework it in multiple themes..... but hey, there’s already enough junk courses out there so why add to that. To flip it and then do a bunch of rockwork and planting only to decide to flip it later and then have to remove a bunch of stuff is also counterproductive.
I’m hoping that as an update or in 2020 the ability to do this might be available?  Maybe something like copy and paste with a word document?  IDK.,,.. just an idea I thought I would throw out there..... Thoughts?  Maybe I’m missing another option?

Why not just create your own save-as by duplicating your course file?
