Lofoten Links in Norway. There is going to be some extensive work on this one; it has pot bunkers.. and as you see in this image, the bunker is not potty at all.. The greens though, are nice with lots of ondulation and some tricky pin positions.

Indeed. TGC's bunkers are a links designer's nemesis. The best I have been able to do is create round bunkers and use the third flatten brush on page 1. An alternative for one in the fairway is to use a spline. You just can't get a proper pot bunker though with a vertical face.

This one is truly a fantasy RCR.  A course that looks out of this world and that 99.9% of us will never play.  Thanks for tackling it.

Yes, this is with Lidar. The good news is that there are not that many pot bunkers on the course. The bad news is that there is no way to get the outstanding mountain backdrop that is spectacular.

It's almost the Swiss backdrop... But not all directions.

The green on hole nr 2, and you can see the tee on hole nr 3.

Looking back from the first green. The nearest peak is quite small compared to reality because of the size of the plot from the lidar data.

Hole 6 - from the tee since there was a nice picture of this hole in real life here:

There is something missing, the mountains in the background..
