I have completed my third fictional course called Cedars Point Golf Resort.

This course is set alongside the Oregon coast where large groves of Cedars populate the coastal and inland hills that surround a valley.  A number of geologically formed coastal and inland ravines come into play on a few holes as does the sea and inland lakes.  The course displays a few different characters across the 18 holes.

The fairways undulate and meander through the surroundings with some significant elevation changes on some holes.  Green size is medium to large, with significant elevation changes on some greens.

Major structures are the clubhouse and the resort complex, which includes two tennis courts next to the resort car park.  Unfortunately it is the off season (due to resource constraints) so you won't see many cars in the car parks.  There is also one maintenance shed between the driving range and first hole.  Cedars Point lighthouse is visible from many holes on the course.

Most of the screen captures below are from the back black tees.

It will be interesting to see how it plays in stronger winds.  Enjoy!   :)

Hole 1 (Par 4) - Tee next to clubhouse

Hole 2 (Par 3) - Green with coastal ravine in foreground

Hole 3 (Par 4) - Fairway along the coast

Hole 3 (Par 4) - Green from behind

Hole 4 (Par 5) - Fairway downhill with resort complex in background

Hole 4 (Par 5) - Looking towards Green

Hole 5 (Par 4) Green with Par 3 6th hole in background

Hole 7 (Par 4) - Fairway

Hole 8 (Par 4) - Fairway heading towards resort

Hole 9 (Par 4) - Green from behind with inland ravine and resort in the background

Hole 12 (Par 3) - Uphill to the Green

Hole 15 (Par 5) - Fairway looking towards green

Hole 17 (Par 3) - Downhill from tee

Hole 18 (Par 5) - From the tee

Yep just played this in strong winds/back tees and it kicked my butt.

2 bogey's and 16 pars for me.

Excellent course .

Thanks Stan.  I have played twice since published and only got winds around 5 to 10kmh. Can't wait for a round in 20+ kmh wind to see how unkind it plays.

I'm going to take a design break for a couple months and get my game play skill level up a bit on other designers' courses.  Also I hope to be able to get TGC2019 working on Steam again so I can have a go designing with lidar/OSM data for a real course.  Its been broken on my PC since May after a Steam upgrade followed by a Windows 10 upgrade a couple days later.  So frustrating.
