Aside from general variety within the objects existing in the designer, what types of objects do you feel are missing from any catalog of placeable objects that could help further the authenticity of course building?

Pot bunkers (could be an object) 3-5 different sizes with adjustable depths would go very far!

I think the option to have rivers and fences flow with the terrain would be a nice feature.

Other than that I would like to see more texture options that cater for links courses, like scorched sections of the fairways etc.

I think you mean variety?
Radio/tv masts.
Buildings: Barns and other farmland buildings (not only american mind you).
Hedges that is possible to adjust in size.

Those things were the first thing to pop up, but I reckon there will be more.

The ability to use different trees and plants in different themes, tilting water tiles and a more realistic bounce from objects (for the purpose of mini golf courses).

Perhaps more cabin/rustic styled buildings. I feel they would visually look better in the majority of the themes. It seems like there are more country styled themes than urban or city.

 - Building blocks (columns, walls, cubes, triangle cones etc) - varying colours (white, grey, black, wood grain). Rotate 360°, allowing us to build our own buildings, fences, bridges, sky is the limit really.
 - Spline for OB
 - New vehicle types (buses, trucks, taxis etc);
 - Gum trees (needed for Australia and New Zealand courses) and any other trees common to popular golfing destinations that are missing.
 - Country flags to attach to grandstands, clubhouses.

Not an object but we really need a perfect swing method in the designer as a lot of us aren't great players.

My courses:
Old Wick Cliffs
das Eilte
Aotearoa Golf Club
Breakneck Golf Club
Falcon's Landing
Heatherton Kings
Tarras (Tournament Ed.)

The top of my list......
#1. Spline-able fences and streams that follow the contour of the land.  The “Panama Canal” type stepdowns we are forced to use now just don’t look natural at all.
Waves on the large bodies of water.  A smooth sand transition for beaches.  Fix
Fix the bunker transitions in the Boreal theme.  Cars that drive down roadways set by the designer... also bring the trucks and RVs back
The ability to blend in transitions between surfaces.  A Dirt trail cartpath.

Overall, more realism with the objects and make all trees, rocks, shrubs etc UNIVERSAL across all themes.

I forgot one thing which was available in the testing phase of TGC2 that would be an incredible asset to 2019 (or subsequent releases..... ).  That would be the 360* rotation and stretch/squish manipulation ability with rocks.  This would allow a tremendous boost to creativity.

I definitely agree with all trees/plants available in all themes. Ability to multi-plant grass/trees that have been  manually adjusted for size. A Lowcountry theme: think Kiawah Island Resort, not just the Ocean Course. More variation in clubhouses. More variation in textures...some of them have zero perceivable difference.

A theme that would suit a Monterey style of course and is it cypress trees, can’t remember of the top of my head but some of the guys have asked before about this. Is it Pebble Beach style of course.
