These 2 WIPs may amount to nothing or they may spark a few ideas and get published. One will be a tournament ready full 18 course done in the rustic theme, the other is a mini golf course with a natural look to it.

The 1st hole on the tour course is a short par 4 with 2 options off the tee, you can go straight ahead to leave you a wedge or short iron shot to the green. The other riskier option is to carry the bunker on the left with a driver to leave a pitch shot to the putting surface.

The 1st hole on the mini golf course has 2 bunkers made with a fairway surface which will allow the player to use a putter to escape the hazard.

First 2 holes are finished, both have options off the tee which may need to negotiate bunkers. Although the bunkers are made of fairway they would be best avoided as the slope will leave a difficult shot with the putter.

The 3rd is a longer hole with options for how you want to approach the hole. A lot of the work I'm doing on this course is experimental as I'm trying out different ways to create a mini golf course.

Really interesting concept here Wolf.....  Not many courses have bunkers inside the Green...  I did 1 hole in my 2 courses, 4 Pines project but was really skeptical about publishing it.....  Kudos.  I’m looking forward to it.

Cheers, it's a putt putt course and I was wanting to avoid using objects as obstacles so I decided to use bunkers as hazards. The bunkers are just a bit of fairway that's shaped and sculpted like bunkers, this means even if you land in them you can still get out with a putter.

Yeah I seen you done the 4 courses on the one plot, well done it's good to see designers change things up a bit.

Are these beauties gonna be published together Wolfy?

I don't think so, I'm kinda ahead on the mini golf course as I've got 5 holes done and the other has 3 holes done. I might need to get some planting done on both because planting 2 courses at the same time might tip me over the edge.

By the way I stole your idea of using the wire fencing around  the border for more bounce.

Hole 4 - the first par 2 on the course is easy to get close in one but not as easy to get a hole in one.

Hole 5 has two options, one is to aim your shot between the 2 rocks in front of the pin, or aim right and catch the slope to get near the hole.

Hole 6 is a par 4 with a bunker in the middle of the hole to deter a tee shot from going for the pin, from there the choices are going left or right to catch a slope.

The 7th hole is a par 3 where the pin is behind the water which will suck in any under hit or badly aimed shots due to the sloping of the green.

Here's the 8th hole with a narrow path that cuts through 2 bunkers in the middle of the hole. The sculpting will reward a well hit shot but too much or too little power can leave a tricky 2nd shot.

I'll be concentrating solely on the Wunderpar mini golf course for just now as I have no motivation to create another full course.

The front 9 is almost complete, I want to get all this to the finished stage before I embark on the back 9.

Cheers guys, I'm toying with the idea of adding light rough around part of the edges and areas that aren't in play to get a traditional golf hole look. I'd keep them thin in areas where the ball might travel to, so they would still be playable but difficult with a putter. I'm hoping that would add something to make up for the lack of objects and stop players just going full power with their putts.

After doing a bit of work on the surrounding area I thought I better get back to building the course.

The 10th has an uphill slope to be negotiated, it's up to you if you fancy taking it on with your first or second shot.

The 11th requires you to guide your ball past two bunkers with the aid of the slopes of the green.

The 12th is another two bunker hole with a water hazard at the back, too long and your ball is in the drink to short and you run the risk of playing from the bunker.

The 13th hole asks for you to catch the slope opposite the bunker to try get close to the hole.

The 14th has a stream dividing the tee and pin which has a couple of options off the tee. Aim for the bridge on the right and leave yourself with a trickier putt, go left and either catch the bunker slope right to get on the bridge or just lay up and cross the water on your second shot.
