Hi, just wondering if anyone would be able to help with a problem with my las file not working correctly with osm and where i can get the metadata i need for my las file.

So I was able to use the las file to get the correct terrain for the course I am working on but the osm map that i worked on and the satellite view doesn't work when i select the lidar and run the heightmap. I just get a blank box on the right side.

My issue that I can't find the right metadata in the files that are provided for Wisconsin. The website that a have to use for the Wisconsin Lidar is https://www.sco.wisc.edu/scoapps/lidar/tile-search/?layer=polk and the tile im working on is 1331. When I click on the tile i get a couple las files that work terrain wise but i can get the data to match up with osm. The only metadata that i could find is on ftp://ftp.ssec.wisc.edu/pub/wisconsinview/lidar/Polk/Polk_2015_County_Delivery/Metadata/ but not of those files seem to help.

I also emailed the state cartographer's office to see if i could get the epsg projection and see if forcing that in the tool would work. They replied with "the WKID for the .las files of Polk County is 103448.  Horizontal Datum is NAD 83 HARN, and the CRS is WISCRS Polk County (Survey Feet).  The vertical CRS is NAVD88 - Geoid12B (Feet).  The projections is Transverse Mercator.  I hope this is the information that you need." But im not sure exactly how to translate that to epsg or if that helps me.

Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Try entering 8136 into the "Force EPSG" Box.  Leave for units blank.

Wisconsin is a fun one!
