Randomly, on an average of once per hour, the video image will freeze.  Controls and sounds continue to work.  Windows 10 on Dell Optiplex 780 with Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650, 12GB Ram, GeForce GT 1030 graphics card.  General Windows 10 graphics reset (Ctrl-Alt-Win B) does not resolve issue.  Is there an in-game option to refresh/reset video -- or some other repair option?

Is this happening in the designer or during gameplay?

Game play.  Perhaps a bit more frequently during Head to Head Match Play.  I've barely poked into the designer and don't recall having experienced the freeze there.

When it happened to me it was usually in the designer.  I would Ctrl/Alt/Del and sometimes I would get it to unfreeze.  Other times I had to force restart.  In my case it was the graphics card I had at the time which was an AMD on my old rig.  I upgraded to a 1080 and haven't had a problem since.  I'm thinking that a 1030 should be fine..... I have friends using a 1060 and it's ok.  Could be you need to update drivers on your rig?  IDK....  that's where I would start anyways. There are other guys on here who know more about the technical stuff though.   Good luck

Thanks for the info, RockManDan.  These freezes actually have happened on multiple computers and different "brands" of GT 1030 cards and I've always used current drivers.  I'll try Ctrl/Alt/Del next time it happens.

Ctrl/Alt/Del brings me to a blue screen with several options which don't seem to relate to video processing.  "Cancel" returns me to TGC without any change to the video freeze.  :(

Attached is a log file that appeared in the Steam folder at the time of one of these video freeze "crashes".  Any ideas from code developers/maintainers????

When it works (the 1030), it works fine for me (1080).  I just can't tame the random crashes.  They occur on all (~4) of the 1030's I've tried, though.  :(
