Taking a break from Hidden Farms to start my next championship course. Did the layout last night and got an hour on the first hole this morning.

Hey you can never have too many projects going at once! That way you can take a break and go work on something else.

My contest course? Yeah...I'm only like 4 holes in. It's hard to just keep working on layout without knowing how the shoreline will work or what the planting will look like you know? Gotta stay fresh!

Looks like another winner! Without playing it yet, and just in anticipation, I will say that if you intend for it to be a major-type course like Murky Hollow that could be played in major conditions, I would try to make sure that your visuals on the tee and on the approach shots are good. In other words, you can see where the hazards are and everything is framed nicely. That was one drawback to Murky, which made it tough to aim without the scout cam.

I'm cool with holes that reward courageous drives with a better view of the green, though.

Thanks. Not really going for a "major" feel.  It's a pretty short part 72 at a little over 6,950 yards.  With the right wind there are three drivable par fours.  Never in the same round as they tee-off in different directions.

Alpha published. I hate putting out alphas and Betas, but playing in the creator doesn't do it for me.

What's your opinion on #2? Half of me loves it and the other half wants to demolish it.
