I have about the same amount of friends and it stutters when the ball is landing on the green or when there is any kind of camera fly over.

Huge +1

I have not got game yet as i am in the UK but worried on
reading this about lag and friends, so the more friends
you have playing TGC the worse the lag is that correct ?

I didn't experience any lag today or yesterday, but then again, I only have two friends now on PSN with my new PSN ID I created yesterday (I figured I needed to start out fresh and leave my PS3 ID behind).  Compared to what I experienced on the XB1, my play experience was stutter and lag free.

I have a good number of friends John so i will have
to wait and see, if it is a cause of lag hopefully by
the time the game is released in Europe it might
have been fixed.Glad that you are enjoying the game.

MERACE (my other PSN friend) and I just finished a lag free, event free round at Autumn Ridge G.C.  We both shot over par and enjoyed every minute of it.  Even though we were playing simultaneous stroke play, there were still a lot of server data handling lag that was evident.  There was, on average, an 8 second delay between one of us hitting a shot, and the other player actually seeing it play out on his end.  It's hard not to give the outcome away vocally, and we gave up trying.

MERACE hasn't seen The Golf Club since playing it on a laptop that was delivering it a 720p in low detail graphics at 17-20 fps, so it was like a new world to him.  I can't imagine, it was a real eye-opener for me coming from the XB1 version only earlier yesterday :o  The PS4 version of this game can't quite match the graphics of my PC when I've got the game set to 1920 x 1080, high detail graphics with 8x MSAA, but I can't play the PC version at those settings either (18-21 fps).  But beyond that, there's just something about the PS4 version that feels like a complete, integrated package....  :-*

Enjoying the game, though i do have some issues, which is expected. I don't have any friends on list either. I wa s just wondering if any issues could be connected to install size. Some folks installs seem to differ by a few mb ? Good job anyway hb. It's a good  game.

This small install file size compared to the XB1 file size does seem a bit peculiar.  It's slightly more than half the size of the XB1!?  Perhaps someone from HBS can comment on that?
