Granite Run is a reproduction of a previous course of mine (Pebble Stone Canyons) that less than a handful of you played, the original was clunky and laggy, the new version will play smooth and I will show you how when released.

What I did was, after hearing about the new object limitations set in place, I took and loaded up Pebble Stone back in my unpublished folder and stripped it of everything but the rocks, everything, and flipped it into the links theme.  At the right settings, I can run this course well over 40 frames per second in its new current form.  It will be the last of its kind.

So far I have holes 1 thru 9 finished, and have the back 9 left to do.

here is how hole 9 (an uphill par 5) shaped out:

Due to the limitations set in place still, I can't add anything more than fairways/rough/bunkers.  But on this course, I will not be using any bunkers at all.  With that said, I cant add tee box markers, grasses, bushes, nothing extra, because it simply will not let me.

I will publish when finished, and give a guide on how to play this smooth as silk.

One problem - hit the ball into the rocks and everything came to a stop. Had to abandon play.
