Great report. I can't wait. There is always going to be wishes and wants but the first build sounds terrific. The people at HB sound very sincere about producing a great golf sim. I am hoping the release will be around the time of The Masters.

I also hope that some beta can be done on PS4 and XBox 1.

Here's an interview with the Executive Producer of "The Golf Club", Peter Garcin, at Sportsgamerblog.com.  It's in a podcast called "Riding the Pines" and lasts 33 minutes.  It's a very informative interview and professionally produced!  I picked up a number of things in listening to it that I didn't have an appreciation for in terms of priority  A couple of things that really registered with me is the fact that The Golf Club was designed to have its content sharable AND cross-playable across platforms.  Secondly, the game was designed to be free of meters and gauges and rely on feel.

Also, here's the link to the text introducing the interview, which is mostly an outline of what is discusssed:

;D... AS IF!?  I haven't been the Captain of anything since my time as Captain of a Tiddlywinks team in junior high school  :o  I appreciate the thought though, and I like the dramatic touch with the scrolling message - definitely got my attention 8)
