I don't mind the med-fast greens but i think greens like this is just so unrealisti,c and it feel like you are playing on ice.I can still score on these greens just not enjoyable.Third round think i hit -12 so its not that they are too hard just don't feel right to me.

The hardest for me is the soft fast greens, followed by hard fast greens. Soft fast my short game goes out the window, hard fast my long game does.

I like them all though, however I started to map all the various combinations and the number was getting exponentially to high.

Dogz is bang on though, if a designer is considering fast hard greens, you have to give some room to roll up. I tested Augusta greens no less then 30 times for each approach to ensure the birdie was possible on each hole without the super lofted 3 iron shot. Every designer should also test that each hole has a chance if they wish their course not to be relegated to the trash heap.

It's nice to have courses of all firmness and speeds. Keeps it fresh and Golfers on their toes.  This was a quick course but for the most part (5th excluded) there was ample room to make shots.

I thought it was a great test of your game. The pin on 16 was shoved to far forward and 5 was just unfair on every level - distance, pin position, etc. Every other hole had plenty of landing margin.

The green speed was actually just Medium, if I recall correctly, but man, that course firmness was dialed UP. It was like playing true bump-n-run links golf the way Seve did it back in the day - land short, run to the stick.

just played some of my best golf in a while,  round 2 i had two hole outs including a 211 yarder, ...was 1 shot off steves pace after 3 rounds,....fell apart in the forth, the pressure was too much and i started missing the cone more than normal lol.  pulled it together late in the back nine, but no cookies here. 

nice shooting steve,  hard to keep up with for sure.
