Graphic Artist

Purpose

To design and produce artwork predetermined with the producer to agreed schedules.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaising with other graphic artists and members of the project team
• To ensure that the producer is aware of the progress of their work
• To alert the lead graphic artist and producer to any issues they have with their work or the agreed schedules
• To produce artwork to the required standard
• To ensure artwork is thoroughly designed
• To achieve all set targets

Key Results

• High quality work delivered on time
• Good relationships maintained with other team members at all times.

Reports to

• The Producer and Lead Graphic Artist.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent /related experience.
• Excellent freehand drawing capability
• Photoshop experience
• Illustrator experience
• Excellent understanding of interface design
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Passion for computer games
• Ability to work in a team
• Self motivated
• Graduate or relevant experience > 2 yrs
• Ability to provide creative input into a project
• Good communicator
