Hobble Creek is my long lost love! Played it almost every day as kid, and on school golf teams and for many tournaments. Now I live in Ohio and don't get the chance to play it, except for the occasional trips back to Utah. So thanks to the GNCD, I have the chance to play it everyday again... just need to recreate it. I did take a wack at it many moons ago, but now with my knowledge and experience, I feel like I can do it justice.

I can offer up plenty of photos, and local knowledge to help you out!  I'm really looking forward to what you put together.   I'll put up some photos of the first few holes as well, so you have something to reference.

SOooooOoo looking forward to this.  Hobble Creek is perhaps my favorite public course in Utah!

I looked through some of my old photos, and found quite a few.  Let me know if you'd like me to beta test this and offer tips/suggestions/modification.    I'm also quite willing to go and do some "on site" research for your cause.  :D

HOLE 1.  Par 4  -  Downhill dogleg left.   Getting the water in the correct spot will be tough, as I believe the water is slightly higher than the green is in real life, but not enough that one would notice...

That is perfect!!!! great shots!!! now that I have fences,  it will really help the look down that left side. OB will be even better to add.

I've lost more balls than I care to admit over that stupid fence to the left. :)

I can get the distance to the lake, I would hit a 5 wood off the tee, because my drives could make it to the lake. so Ill start the lake at about the 245 from the blue tees. If you hit a driver off the tee it would require a strong draw. I always liked hitting an 8 iron into this green. probably mostly because I was best with my 8 iron.

Hole 2: Par 4  Straight hole, slightly downhill.  You need to cross the Hobble Creek twice on your way to the hole.

This is the only photo I have of it, so I may need to capture a bit more for you.
