I guess they still have the same testing manager that was responsible for testing of the seasons update. If either of these were missed at my work the UAT manager would be walking. It's comical that this gets missed. Any how the one saving grace for TGC is that RMPGA Tour is one diabolical golf game and yes I have played it on EA Access and now cancelled my pre order. It's just a sad time for golf game lovers. On one hand we have a game that hasn't worked for months and appear to be getting worse with there quality control. On the other we have the EA dross.

And still on the year 2015 we don't have online Match Play mode in any golf game apart from TW 14. It's a very sad time for golf game lovers .

TGC has the potential to be the greatest golf game in history but that's all it has only had since it was released "potential" it's an empty game that hardly works and no decent online match making and what's more appears to be going backwards in quality not forwards. Still takes an age to select certain courses and and frame rate is just awful. Still not played the seasons mode as its broke but I've heard it not great anyway. And now the controls error has made it unplayable.

Make it the greatest golf game ever guys by... Adding a in depth career mode that evolves season after season. Add a practice facility (driving range etc) the ability to select the 14 clubs in the bag you want. Better UAT testing and for the love of God a decent online match play system then your onto the best golf game in history!

We are talking about a game, and I understand that everyone on these boards are passionate about it.

So the left thumb stick was broken in the latest release.
What do you do about it.... Come to the boards and bitch
What do I do about it...  Learn how to play with the right stick until the issue is resolved

Last night I played with some friends who all swing with the left thumb stick except for one.
So we took it as a challenge to beat him on his own course, and guess what, I beat him

Mission accomplished, and I felt good about it.
On a side note I am going to feel even better when we play with the whole group on Monday and he has to refer to me as "SIR" Cally

So take a chill pill and challenge yourself to either swinging with the other stick or swinging reverse with the left stick

No point in bashing the Devs over this.They made a mistake and fixed it.

Unlike PC, fixes have to go through console protocol,which can take up to a week.

Kill the thread and move on.

This is why Im glad I own the game on PC and ps4 ....when the ps4 gets a bugged update I simply play on the PC.

Do something to make the left shot stick useable again.  One should be able to pull it back for the backswing and push forward for the ball strike.  It is backwards.

Do something; let us know what, if anything, is being done.

And please Anthony don't broadcast on twitch saying "yep that's fixed" and "yes we fixed that" and then when it comes to us on console IT'S STILL BROKE, you do this all the time, your like a used car sales man now no one trust you anymore and that's a shame.

Not sure how you can say "no one trusts you anymore"......are you the spokesman for the whole community now? I have been here since beta and think the entire team at HB have been very upfront about this game. I am a left sticker also and not thrilled with this mistake....but it is just a game....Relax....

Still not solved? For the first time in ages I got the urge to play a golf game (the same time I got the urge back to play golf for real) and it's totally unplayable?

How can you miss a thing like this when you test the update? It's not a small fault...

After the game has been out for so long I can still not say to my friends they should buy this, when you miss a thing like this in an update. This is not acceptable!

Read this:

It's been fixed.
Fix just has to get released through Microsoft.
I'm sure everyone is sorry this is inconveniencing you so much.

Of course it's not ideal if you are used to the left stick swing but are you able to use the right stick to swing in the mean time?  I have been a left stick swinger the entire time and it takes a little getting used to the right stick but it is still playable that way.

As Pub mentioned, the fix has already been sent to Microsoft but it will need to pass through their certification process.

But that's isn't my problem that M$ take so long to let a patch get certified it totally HB Studio's fault, no excess for such a FAIL!

I waited to try Rory Mcilroy first and wasn't impressed but with others advice I choose TGC and now I can't play the game, £27.99 wasted, I'm so glad I didn't get the Upgrade Pack.

This shows me that HB are incompetent and given the scale of this fail, if it happen in the equivalent scale in my industry they would be serious implications. But I doubt a fail as bad as this would happen, I have met a few incompetent people in my time but none that are experienced this incompetent.

Yes I know I can use the rightstick but I've always played golf games with left stick plus it's better placed on the Xbox joypad.

If I hadn't have downloaded this game I would have took it back as faulty.
