Not sure if it's related but I was playing a course I'm designing and it seemed about every other hole was missing a flag...then I played one online and it too had missing flags....(The fabric flag not the pole).

Could it be related?

Have been seeing this on the ps4 for many weeks now. Even happens on some of the new themes from the dlc. I'm confident HB will fix this. On a side note, I LOVE the new different color flags.

Wow..thats crazy.  I wonder as I'm sure HB does as well...what would cause this random issue.  I hadn't seen it at all that I can remember and then all of a sudden it was on several courses and quite a bit (every other hole).

So I'm thinking while writing this are the assets as well as the course file downloaded from HB servers once you choose a course?  I know it waits for a moment once you select a course and I know the course file is probably less than a megabyte when finished (I only have a half complete course and it's 188kb right now).

If that is the case I bet there is an issue with the streaming of assets or something...

Hmm...  Will keep an eye out, I'm sure if they are actively looking into it, it's just as frustrating for them as us!!!

I'm on ps4, but this happens on & off.
On Sunday night, I played two consecutive rounds. Round one had flags, round two didn't.
Good news is I hadn't seen that in a few weeks.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

Played 2 consecutive rounds, round one had flags, round two didn't.
I don't remember every round I've played that didn't have flags (there hasn't been too many), but I do remember 3 instances with rounds with no flags, each was on my 2nd round I played.

Just need to comb through the code related to the flag objects.  I'm sure it's a separate area as they are animated and removable.  So there is something going on there.  I saw it several rounds off and on that evening I posted this thread but have not seen it since and have played a few more rounds...strange.

Happens all the time on ps4. Some courses have flags on some greens, some greens no flags. Some courses no flags, some courses all the flags. Don't see any pattern other than it looks silly with a stick with no flag. I blame Zamo.
