That is all fine and good,   but what about guys that have no time to play but want some live action?   Don't say that they need to schedule matches because that doesn't work out for self employed guys most of the time.   Here is the the mode that falls between the cracks-   Give us an option to see live players on courses that ARENT are friends so that we can choose to play their ghost WITHOUT turn base.   So I log on and see the top 10 most active courses and see that Joe Shmo is on hole 2.   I can simply log on and start playing with the idea of catching up.   It's not the best option for me but works.    What about the option to send an invite for a TB round to a non friend through the game?     Alternate shot and all of that stuff is great,   but TGC is the only golf game I've seen where it's so darn hard to get a true live match going without having to jump through hoops.
Please HB,  give us a way to share user created society templates of our tour course schedules.

I see what you're saying.  Multiplayer requires a great deal of database programming and UI building.  TGC is the only golf game where multiplayer is difficult to set up, but it's also the only one priced this way.  I would imagine a full second game at full price, equipped with multiplayer delights as you've described.  I don't equate multiplayer modes and lobbies one-to-one with cash flow, but there's a correlation that is undeniable.  Some things were more important during initial development, it seems.  Now, they are working on multiplayer options as we speak, correct?

Unfortunately, my experience with live multiplayer was a bit disappointing in the TW series resulted in about a 50% disconnect (i.e. quit) rate.  :(

However, I do hope that with the major multiplayer update in December that the current multiplayer will improve also.

I  understand what you all are saying, it's not for me but I understand.  Could you not set it up where A player was looking for a match play and selected that, and then it would throw you into a search of other players looking for the same thing?

Anything will be better than what they are offering now.  In today's social media and social aspect I don't see how they designed a game WITHOUT multiplayer involved.  They really missed the boat, and I believe lost several players.

Could you imagine match play on an 18 hole putt putt?  LOL

If somebody quit a match, it should show up on their stats/ profile.  So, when they challenge you, you should be able to decline if they appear to be a chronic quitter.
