OP updated!  I know you all have been dying for it.

Includes my latest restoration project, Scarpacci Vineyard Restoration.  Next up?  How about a little break?  I've been on a rampage lately and need a re-charge.  I have some ProTee's I got to finish too.  I'm toying with the idea of restoring TPC Scarpacci West.  I downloaded the file and the thing is a complete mess.  Not sure if it's worth it at this point but I really would like to tackle the desert theme with the new surfaces.

I read "How about a little break?" and got stressed...then I read "I have some ProTee's I got to finish too" and I felt much better.  :)

Do whatever you have enthusiasm to do scarpacci.  I'm happy to see reworks of your older courses or something new and fresh.  You've gotten so good at this that it's a pleasure stepping onto the first tee of any new course you put out.  I'll always be a fan of your minimalistic straightforward designs, but I appreciate the ones with more challenge/complexity too.  Thanks for all the great tracks so far!

So much for my little break.  The renovation of TPC Scarpacci is well underway.  Actually a complete overhaul.  The only thing remaining from the old course is the theme and the hole layout.  Was just messing around at first but loved the way it was looking and next thing I know I'm 5 holes deep into it.

I'll try to post some pics this time.  I did a play through of what I have so far that could be found in my past broadcast on Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/antonioscarpacci

When you love what you do, it's not work.  You don't need a break.  :)

I would appreciate if anybody reading this could take the time to vote on this poll: http://www.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php?topic=14410.0

Trying to get an idea what people are looking for.  Since there is a such a long wait over on TGCTours I'm thinking of focusing on 9 hole courses for match play and 4 ball.  Although, with those game modes broken, who knows.

I know all my fans are dying for an update so here goes:

Spectacle Island has been chosen by TGCTours to host the 2016 Perth International on the European Tour.  The 4 days set-up is going to be quite challenging and I think I may disappear for a while to avoid the hate mail, lol.

I've also gotten word Scarpacci Hollow may be in line for a tour stop, so a 4 day set-up of that course has also been released.  If that happens I believe it will be my 7th course used on tour.  Pretty, pretty cool.

Thompson Island was featured in a HB Studios weekly tournament so that got a much needed bump in plays.  It's my favorite design so it's nice to see it get some action.

I ditched the recent desert / TPC Scarpacci restoration.  Didn't get much feedback on it which leads me to believe it probably stinks. At some point I will release it as a 9 hole course because I like it and think it will be a fun match play course.

Currently I'm working on my first RCR, the Kapalua Plantation Course.  Been at it for quite some time but I just finished the lay-out.  Still need to do tee boxes & cart paths but that should be quick.  What wont be quick is the sculpting and planting.  I plan on releasing a version without any planting done so I can have a clean starting point if ever they release a more suitable theme or update the links vegetation.

That's about it.  I don't expect I will be taking on any more projects after this one.  Certainly not a RCR. I still have a few courses in the queue over at TGCTours  so no point in submitting any more there.  I haven't been playing the game all that much outside my tour rounds and my scores are showing it.  I look forward to not having any works in progress so I can enjoy other peoples work a bit more and sharpen my skills.

a beta of my Kapalua Plantation has been released.  It's called KPC Beta.  I've received some great feedback and will have a final version completed in the next couple weeks.  In the meantime the beta is pretty close to the finished product and really fun to play.  Check it out:

I haven't had a chance to try it yet but will this weekend - looks great scarpacci!  Excited to see you trying some real life courses.

And the forward tees are in place for a protee version...right?  :)

New, original Scarpacci course, yet to be named, less than a week away.  Swiss theme, which I have yet to tackle.   Really like the way this one is coming out and think it is possibly a step up from my past designs.  Taking a step back from trying to challenge the best in the world and trying to design a course everybody can enjoy.  I'll post some teaser pics soon.

After that, I'll put the finishing touches on Kapalua.  I really needed to work on some original ideas before getting back to this one.  I find the RCR game a bit of a grind and will not be taking on any more real course in the future.

Going to release a 4 day set-up of Thompson Island after that.  My favorite course so far and I'm hoping the multi-pin may help get it picked up on tour.

After that, I will likely go dark for a while.  The weather is getting better and Summer Scarpacci ain't got no time for video games!

THanks for the update scarpacci!  I love what I hear.  Looking forward to both the new original course and the final kapalua.  As you know I agree on Thompson island...it's one of my favorite courses in the game absolutely.

New course published:

Monte Cervino
6975 yards
Par 72
Medium FW & Green firmness
Fast (173) Greens

Plays nice and easy but you can get yourself into some trouble here and there.

Enjoy!
