Scarpacci Bluff (Tour) published.  Checks in at a whopping 7700 yards but doesn't play over the top difficult.  Definitely meant for top players but the average golfer should be able to get around without much trouble.  Longer, firmer and faster than the original, I expect it to play about 5 shots harder.

I'm above average, but not great.  I shot -9 at the original (-13 course record so far) in med/low winds and then -6 in the same conditions on the tour course before publishing.  About to give it a go on the live track.  It's hard to judge difficulty when you know how to play each hole so I would love to hear how your round goes.

ProTee to come later tonight.  RDH, I will get Thompson done as well.

Finished my round and loved it scarpacci.  Highly playable course as usual.  Should set up well for simulator play.  Overall the course has really good character...individual holes may not be quite as distinctive from one another, but that's fine...it's a consistent design that plays very well.  (I sound like a course critic which I am not...I just had fun playing it...thanks scarpacci!)

Grr...you're toying with me scarpacci!  Every time I see you posted I check the thread hoping to see "I've released a protee version of this course and a further shortened version of Thompson island for RDH."  No luck yet...you're going to make me wait for Christmas, aren't you?  :)

I go a bit distracted testing out the "Taste" method for building fairways.  I freaking love it and have already banged out 4 holes for my next course which I plan to flip over to the rustic theme once release.  I'm also hoping the texture swapping will breathe new life into my Spectacle Island project.

I promise I will get the ProTee versions out by then end of the weekend.

Sorry RDH, I'm slacking once again on the ProTee build.  I've been distracted building the greatest course ever!  Loving the rustic theme.

Thanks for letting me know Scarpacci.  A delay for "the greatest course ever" sounds like it's worth it though.  :)

The whole texture swapping thing has brought the Spectacle Island project back to life as well. Happy days!

I imagine by Christmas I will have the following completed:

Unnamed Rustic Course (reg, tour and ProTee versions)
ProTee Thompson 2
ProTee Bluff
Spectacle Island (reg, tour and ProTee versions)
Little Brewster Island Pitch and Putt:

(pictured: Little Brewster Island)

Scarpacci Slam II Tour (the original tour was ruined by the wind, plus I'll have all my newer courses added)
Boston Harbor Islands Golf Tour (Thompson, Spectacle and Little Brewster)

If I get ProTee Thompson 2 for Christmas, everything else is just a bonus.  That list would make my childhood Christmases pale in comparison!

Really looking forward to seeing spectacle island and the new rustic course scarpacci.

Add a 9 hole winter theme course to the list.  Couldn't resist.  Just an update to my 9 hole Scarpacci Grove with some tweaks and upgrades.

Pretty ambitious list now that I think about it.  Might just get the new rustic, the protee's and this winter course by christmas and follow up with spectacle and brewster by the new year.
