An 18 hole Open Tournament to celebrate the launch of the AILSA ISLE resort.

Ailsa Isle is a private secluded island offering a relaxing getaway location for golfers looking for something extra special.

Only reachable either by one of are luxury cruiser boats or for those with a bit more cash to splash a helicopter ride from the local mainland
airport.

The golf course although a new design is a classic old style links that looks as timeless as the landscape itself. Rolling greens offer a real
challenge but have a slower easy pace.

Everything about your stay here is about relaxation and golfers are actively encouraged to stop at The Inn on the Beach half way house.
Enjoy a couple of drinks or a full gourmet lunch with front row seats to watch play on the par 3 9th. and 10th. tee.

Then check in with the 10th. tee starter and take on the back 9. The second half of the course skirts along the coast line giving great views of the
the course as the lighthouse behind the 18th. green draws ever closer.

On completion of your round choose from 3 award winning restaurants in the hotel for your evening meal. Then as a perfect end to the day take on
the Himalayan style putting green, and if your lucky watch a spectacular sun set behind the back drop of the course.

A view from behind the Hotel. Helipad and landing stage in the foreground with the course extending away into the distance.

The par 3 6th. looking back to the tee.

A brace of par 5s. The greens for the 7th. and 11th. holes nestle together and share some common bunkering.

The Inn on the Beach offers a welcome half way house break.

The par 3 13th. sheltered by 2 granite outcrops.

A general over view of the course. The 14th. hole par 5 fairway winds it's way through the foreground.

An attractive bridge connects 2 sections of the 15th. fairway.

Your final destination the par 5 18th. green with the converted lighthouse behind, now serving as a bar and clubhouse.

Our challenging putting course in front of the Hotel is a great way to sharpen your skills, either before or after your round.

Cruiser boats await departing visitors.
