Here's hoping for a quick release of TGC2 with a robust MP landscape.

I think there are ways around the lobby system.  All everyone did on Tiger Woods in the lobby was bash each other anyway.  I think you could have a search button to look for available players in a certain game mode and link the two players up that way.  If we can all agree on one thing, its the current state of MP is not functioning anywhere near what it should or could be.  I for one think this game could bring in a lot more players if it had a good multiplayer mode.  That is the only reason I turn my PS4 on is to play with my friends.  We could careless what the game is, it's about that social aspect, and enjoying the game experience with friends.

I thought I was in the minority in the gaming community. I simply can't imagine spending time gaming if I'm not playing with a friend. When TGC made TBMP close to real time it quickly became our favorite game. We can sit, relax, enjoy an adult beverage, and catch up on each others lives while enjoying a sport we both love.

I would think your suggestion for a search function would be great. I would love for it to identify players by their skill level and their preferred method of play. Something like hardcore, social, or newbie.  I for one would mark social. I like meeting new people and learning about them. However, I know many simply want to see if they can beat the other guy and would never use a headset. We would be a bad pair. I don't care if I win. I just want to relax after a busy day at work.

You talk to fellow minded TGCers and then friend them through Steam and join them in a game on line...pretty simple, eh?

Still haven't fix anything, and we still have no alternate shot or simultaneous match play or any other game modes.
