I would go tropical.  It more realistic as there are more volcanos in tropical locales than Florida and Louisiana...... LOL.  One thing that I noticed in your latest pic is that your fairways, tees, and greens all have really sharp edges on them.  You really should add some rough around all of them.  JMO.

Here is a hole that I created. This hole will not remain as the fourth hole, but for now it is. The holes plays of the top of the volcano to about halfway down. This is a par 3. Scorecard says 142, but plays like 45 yards because of steep elevation. This hole will edited. Tell me what you guys think of the idea with the hole. So here is the tee box that includes a halfway house, a lookout point, one of the worlds most extreme bathrooms lol, the tee box, benches, water cooler, garbage, and will most likely include a helipad to get up:

Here's a tip  to make things easier for you.  When you start a hole.  Go back and put the fringe rough in right away.  Both on the tees and green.  Then you don't have to go back and do it later after you've done other things.

Sounds neat.  I did a see through over the water on one of mine that looked really cool from the green.  I saw where one guy actually build a hole inside one too.  Sounds like you're having fun with it.
