Looking forward to it. LOVE TGC ( still play daily ) , RBI 2015.....no comment.  Looking forward to purchasing the game to support a great studio that actually values customer feedback and acts on it. Played the SSX series on playstation, will this be along the same basic lines?  Personally love racing games , but the trick requirement elements like SSX had turned me off.  Looking forward to the game.

Hey - thanks for supporting us - like we've said before, we value the community's input and as you've seen on Golf - we're dedicated to supporting our games throughout their life-cycles.

Without getting too deep, I think you'll find this game is actually pretty different from all previous snowboarding games. It focuses on a lot of the real-world snowboarding elements, namely: Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Big Air and back country/big mountain riding. And like Golf, it is focused on a physics-driven, very realistic control scheme. It's not a combo-masher to pull off tricks - it's all grounded in reality - from the controls to the scoring. So if you just like riding a line down the mountains - you can do that - but if you like hucking big tricks - you can do that too. Plus you've got the procedural generation and editor with the same depth you've got on Golf - but brought to building out both parks and just back country.

It really is pretty fundamentally different to any previous game in the genre from the way it plays to the way it's presented, etc.

Sounds very interesting and will preorder this for sure when it is available.  Loved the snowboarding games, but that button smashing trick combo really turned me sour. As a huge The Golf Club fan/supporter , really looking forward to another fantastic game from this studio. Thank you in advance for your hard work and dedication and all the many changes you guys make based on customer feedback. It's refreshing to actually be able to communicate with the developers in a forum setting and get constant feedback for the entire life of the game.

Best snowboarding game I've played was Amped 2. Hopes this plays similar. I liked SSX too but the highlight of SSX was when you unlocked the heli lift and could do some proper offpist snowboarding and leave all the over the top trick focused game play behind.

Yep - we are building on some of the same tech we used on Golf and that's all Unity based.

What you've said about this game reminds me of a game I played way back on the PS2, called 'ESPN X games Snowboarding'.. which was largely physics-based with a realistic scoring system. I had a ton of fun with that game because it was so realistic and rewarding--back when these types of games weren't all about crazy combos and silly tracer effects.

So, I will definitely be keeping my eye out for this. Seems very intriguing.
