Has anyone else gotten error codes and game crashing while designing a course?  I never have issues while playing, however by the time I get the sixth or seventh hole of a design, everything starts operating at a snails pace and then the error CE-848xx whatever.  I can delete that course from my memory and start a new one and all is well until I get to the sixth or seventh hole again.  It sucks not being able to design anymore.  I have re-initialized the hdd and reloaded the software - no good.  Does anyone know if this is a ps4 issue or a software issue?  Please help.

It is a PS4 issue.  Do a google search for that error code and you will find pages and pages of messages regarding that error across all games.

Great!! So my choice is purchase a new PS4 or just be happy not designing courses and playing chopping rounds.  That's wonderful.

Welcome to the world of HB breaking the ps4 and many options within the game and leaving it broken for months on end.. This is whats happening..  I made a post in the bug section a good while ago about how changing the background in the desert theme causes a crash on the ps4 every time and I'll I've gotten is crickets...  It's a different team these days,   I know they're working on a Cricket game or something like that so they're preoccupied..

No, if you search that error code you will see a 20 page thread on the Playstation forums of people complaining about that error code.  It has nothing to do with TGC.  You will see people discussing that error while playing all sorts of different games.  I believe the error code you got was CE-34878-0.
